The Practice Development Team are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated healthcare professional to join us at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional who wants to develop into a Practice Development position. Our leadership strategy and opportunities at the Trust are very clear and we are able to provide leadership development, linking with higher education providers and the NHS Leadership Academy.

In addition, you would be supported in strengthening your Practice Development approaches through established peer supervision within the Trustwide Practice Development team.

You will be an experienced healthcare professional who can facilitate and support Preceptorship strategies and the development of the Overseas Nurses preceptorship programme ensuring integration with newly qualified Nursing Associates and newly qualified healthcare professionals alongside other new development strategies, ensuring their learning and development needs are met within the wider programme of professional development at Kettering General Hospital. You will demonstrate wide-ranging competency in clinical practice and significant experience of providing supervision and acting as a preceptor to newly registered health care professionals

Supported by the Learning Environment Lead Nurse for Practice Development, you will be encouraged to lead development programmes independently and enable others to apply their learning to promote excellent nursing care with an emphasis on supporting our newly qualified staff at KGH.
