STAFF NURSE

GENERAL MEDICINE

£25,655 - £31,534 per annum/pro rata (AfC Band 5)

37.5 hours per week - PERMANENT

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurse’s to join ward 23, General Medicine.

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic flexible individual’s who have excellent interpersonal skills who will work effectively within our team.

We are dedicated to delivering a high standard of evidence-based care, ensuring a supportive, friendly and safe environment for both patients and staff.

For this role you will be a registered nurse and you must hold a current NMC registration. You will be expected to carry out care without direct supervision and will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programs of care. The role also involves managing the flow of a daily caseload of patients through the ward area, and liaising with a wide range of other members of the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate speedy, appropriate and safe return to the community.

You must be able to promote clinical excellence through your own practice.

You must also be aware of the Trusts values and behaviours by showing respect, courtesy and professionalism at all times.

We will expect you to accommodate a flexible shift pattern, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage time, prioritise workload along with the ability to work under pressure.

A period of induction and preceptorship is provided.

Informal visits are welcomed and encouraged to come and look at what we do and meet some of the team.

Enhanced Check:  £40.00 + administration cost of £3.69 = £13.69 deduction from 1st months’ salary, £10.00 deduction from salary over following 3 months.
