Band 2 Admin / Clerical support

The Covid Testing Unit is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Admin / Clerical workers to complement our hard working team.

The Covid testing unit provides Covid swab tests for patients awaiting surgery and also a staff testing service. The post holder will provide support to the Covid testing unit staff by ensuring that any patients requiring swabs are booked on to the in-house PAS system and that a record of the visit and the result is maintained in real time. Attention to details is essential due to paperwork that is required to be generated for each appointment and the successful candidate must have basic computer and telephone skills. The Covid testing unit is open 7 days a week from 8am – 6pm.

The post will be fixed term for 6 months only and up to full time hours. Full in house training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

DBS - If you join us and need a new DBS check, we will recover the costs through a salary deduction (£40 - enhanced check or £23 - standard)
