The Fens has a new and exciting opportunity for a keen, enthusiastic and experienced Senior Healthcare Support Worker. We are looking to recruit an experienced Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker who holds pride in providing outstanding and compassionate care towards patients within our service.

Applications are invited from highly motivated and dynamic candidates with a “can do” attitude to deliver the Trusts Vision and Values and help to improve our patient experience within high dependency rehabilitation services. This is an exciting and challenging role which will afford the successful candidate to work as part of a supportive team that is focused on delivering high standards of care through evidence-based practice.

The Fens provides assessment and intervention for men with severe and enduring mental ill-health in a locked environment to support their ongoing recovery and social integration. The whole service is focused on working towards independence and recovery to enable service users to regain health and mental wellness in order to live well in the community.

We offer a 24 hour service within our inpatient facilities therefore successful candidates will be required to work unsociable hours inclusive of nights, weekends, public holidays and shift patterns.

Additionally, for registered nurses*, we are currently offering a welcome payment of £2,500 (paid in two instalments during year one) and a £4,000 payment in lieu of relocation (to assist with commuting) or a full relocation package.

We offer 24-hour services within our Inpatient, Crisis and SPA teams, if you are successfully appointed to posts in these areas or others that might have specified, you will be required to work unsociable hours and shift patterns.

Preference will be given to NHS colleagues who are currently 'at risk' and meet the minimum criteria of the Job Description & Person Specification.
