There is an exciting opportunity for 2 part time Domestic Assistants to support our services at Forston Clinic.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical ward based environment and also non-clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.

Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.

The post holders are not required to clean up bodily fluids, vomit or blood - this is often asked during interview.

This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.

We have two vacancies with the following work patterns

  • First Vacancy is for 16 hours, working Sunday 08:00 - 14:00, Monday 14:00 - 19:00, Tuesday 14:00 -1900.
  • Second Vacancy is 21 hours, working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 14:00 - 19:00 and Saturday 08:00 - 14:00

All the above vacancies offer an opportunity to work extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays.
