This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a new initiative within the North East & North Cumbria Clinical Research Network (NENC CRN). Increasingly there is a need to deliver research in more innovative ways and in new settings. National funding has been allocated to set up new teams able to operate flexibly across community, primary and secondary settings. We are searching for Direct Delivery Team Officers responsible for implementing and co-ordinating specific research programmes with the flexibility and capacity to deliver research studies across a broad range of settings, particularly outside of hospitals.

The post holders will support the Direct Delivery Team Manager and Lead to coordinate research delivery across a range of community, primary and secondary care settings, undertaking a broad range of research tasks. Key to the role will be the ability to work flexibly across CRN NENC Partner Organisations and non-NHS settings, liaising with local community, primary and secondary care teams to support research across the region.

The ideal candidates will have a degree level qualification or equivalent experience, and experience of working in diverse partnership settings with a keen interest and/or experience in research. They will have the ability to work autonomously with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaborative working relationships. Advanced knowledge and expertise in public health and research across community, primary and secondary care settings and the processes for the management and delivery of research.

Full Time 37 Hours 30 Minutes/Week
