Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust was formed in October 2019, following the merger of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust. The two Trusts joined together to provide integrated mental health, physical health and learning disability services to communities.


Right now we are looking for a caring and compassionate Registered Nursing Associate who is looking for a new challenge and career development. As a Registered Nursing Associate you will be working closely with our Health Care Assistants and taking direction from our Registered Nurses who will support you in delivering planned care. You will work as part of the Integrated Community Team, collaborating with the whole Multidisciplinary Team to provide a seamless approach to the delivery of services within the patients’ own homes. We welcome your clinical skills, holistic thinking and ability to collaborate with the wider multi-professional team to shape care for our patients. You will have a great opportunity to gain further confidence in your decision making and be able to make a difference in this new role.

You need to be able to work over a shift system which includes early and late shifts across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays.

We are a modern trust, which means we practice mobile working (using a laptop and smart phone device, which will be provided for you); not only is this safer because you will have access to all patient information at your fingertips, it also means you can complete records and any other patient documentation in real time, so you can then focus all your attention on your next patient.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
