There are opportunities to fill a vacancy as a Band 4 working as an Associate Practitioner in the Blood Sciences department

Area of Work:
Special Chemistry, Blood Sciences

All 3 Sites; Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General & Glenfield General Hospital.

£21,892 to £24,157 pa + enhancements for unsociable hours

Working pattern:
24/7 working. 37.5 hours on average per week

We have an exciting opportunity for people with a Foundation degree or equivalent who want to work as an Associate Practitioner within the Blood Sciences . Full training will be given.

Candidates with relevant laboratory experience, who meet the criteria to start training to be an Associate Practitioner, may be considered.

You will be a well motivated team member who is able to prioritise and work on your own initiative with minimal supervision. You must be able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, have a flexible approach and be capable of working accurately and efficiently under pressure.

There will possibly be a requirement to work on any of Leicester’s 3 hospital sites, any time over a 24/7 period.
