An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Physiotherapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Team in Penwith. This is a fixed term contract until the end of March 2022. We are looking for a colleague who has experience of working in the community and wishes to develop his/her rehabilitation skills whilst being part of a dynamic, progressive, integrated multidisciplinary team.

The Community Rehabilitation Team is based at Bellair Health Centre, Penzance and covers the Penwith area (which includes the Isles of Scilly) for community visits.

You will be responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of patients' rehabilitation, identify problems and needs and set realistic patient led goals. For this post you need to be able to think quickly, problem solve and multi-task in a fast paced working environment.

You will need to have excellent organisational skills combined with a wide knowledge base and experience of working in the community. We use electronic notes systems, so a high level of competence in IT is essential. Experience of RiO is an advantage but full training will be given.

We will offer a supportive working environment in which to develop your clinical and interpersonal skills, a structured in-service training programme alongside annual appraisals and regular supervision.

You must have a driving license and access to a car to fulfil the requirements of the post is essential.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours from Monday-Friday, 7 day working may be a future requirement
