Do you have the necessary skills to work in a senior leadership role within Community Health Services?

Would you enjoy the challenge of providing senior support and clinical oversight within the Hinckley and Bosworth Integrated Community HUB?

The Hinckley and Bosworth Integrated Community HUB includes 3 community nursing teams, each led by a District Nurse. An opportunity has arisen for a full time/ part time Senior District Nurse to lead and manage these community nursing teams within the HUB, the successful applicant will be primarily responsible for supporting and managing the teams within the Hinckley and Bosworth area and working seamlessly with the wider integrated service line and across the Primary Care Network. The applicant will take overall responsibility for the assessment, management and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care to patients in a variety of settings.

A District Nursing qualification is essential for this post, which will involve you supporting the Community Service Matron and the Senior Nurses for Complex Care in delivering high quality care that delivers best value and meets the requirements of commissioners.

You will have responsibility for care quality performance and clinical activity by providing professional nursing leadership and guidance, clinical advice and management in relation to the key dimensions of health care quality:

• Patient safety

• The effectiveness of all health care interventions

• Patient experience and the personal qualities we are seeking.

Please note car owner and driver is essential. LPT run 2 car schemes, car leasing and car salary sacrifice subject to meeting the acceptance criteria. If you currently have a lease car through another NHS organisation it may be possible to transfer the agreement to LPT.

You should have a flexible approach to ways of working and be IT literate.
