Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Admin team is based at Mawson House and comprises of 4 administrators.

The admin team provides administrative support to the nursing and clinical team with regard to The CAMHS Eating Disorders team.

The role is supported within the Admin structure and reports to a Band 4 Senior Business Assistant

The role includes the following areas of responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)

Staff Management:


  • To look after the staff of the newly formed HIT team

  • To oversee training of new staff members

  • Support team leader with recruitment and selection


    System Management:


  • Managing day to day system queries.

  • Booking appointments

  • Oversee management of waiting lists

  • To build clinicians ledgers
  • Dealing with SystmOne tasks

  • Completing prescription requests as required
  • SystmOne data quality i.e. logging and ending referrals and referral allocation.

  • Stationary & Equipment ordering Inc maintenance and booking out on medical devices Inventory.

  • Minute meetings


Workflow Management:


  • To provide reception cover

  • Support service improvements.

  • Making and receiving calls I.e. families and young people’s concerns to then document adequately on SystmOne.

  • Scanning of clinical documents
  • Strategy Discussion requests
  • Typing and distribution of clinical correspondence.
  • Supporting the team with general administrative duties /covering at all CAMHS bases including but not limited to EDT, Crisis, Westcotes, Rothesay & Loughborough.
  • Monitoring and assisting with scanning compliance

  • Support the Team Leader with devising and typing of standard operating procedures.

  • Completion of own identified workload.

  • Stationary & Equipment ordering Inc. maintenance and booking out on medical devices inventory.

  • Minute meetings
  • Attend all admin meetings as required
  • Attend and complete all training as role requires
  • To oversee training of new staff members

  • To oversee weekly Health and safety check i.e. Fire
  • DSE Assessor
  • Fire warden

  • First aider
