Recruitment Assistant

Job Reference: 358-3235794-COR-A

University Hospitals of Leicester
Recruitment Services, Paget House
£18,005 - £19,337 per annum

We are actively promoting flexible working options, helping you to manage a work / life balance”.

The Recruitment Services department of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted supply of qualified staff to all areas of the organisation and we are currently looking for four Recruitment Assistants to join the team. This mammoth task involves understanding staffing requirements, advertising opportunities and processing candidates through the recruitment journey. We pride ourselves in providing a gold standard customer service and build highly effective relationships with recruiting managers around the Trust.

This is a very busy environment and relies heavily on developing trusted relationships with hiring managers and the colleagues in the Recruitment Services team.

In order to succeed in this role, and really enjoy it you must thrive on a busy admin environment where attention to detail is key. We deal with sensitive information such as contracts and salary details but we are also bound by following a number of legal re-employment check requirements.

We use a number of IT systems so you will have good experience with technology and can demonstrate that you can pick systems up quickly.

You do not necessarily need to come from an in-house recruitment environment (although this may be considered a plus) but must have solid administrative experience in a highly demanding and high volume role.

We offer a friendly team environment and career development opportunities for those who excel. While we would expect all new starters to work from the office for the first number of months (there is a lot to pick up and we want to be with you to answer all the questions) we do currently work on a home/office rota.
