We are looking for someone who has the passion and drive to recruit the right people to help SCAS deliver excellent patient care.  This position will be managing the Clinical Co-ordination Centre recruitment which encompasses our 999 and 111 call centres.

The role is based in Bicester and currently has an element of homeworking.  Our call centres are based in Milton Keynes, Bicester and Otterbourne (Hants) and there is an element of travel between the sites when it is safe and appropriate to do so.  The team recruits a variety of roles, ranging from Clinical Nurses, Call Handlers, Educators, Auditors and some corporate functions too. Annually we recruit c. 350 WTE, this is a very fast paced working environment.

We are looking for someone who has the perfect combination of recruitment experience and direct line manager experience as you will be managing a team of c7 people.  You will be able to hit the ground running with performance management and providing support and leadership to the team.

You don’t need to have NHS experience, but it may be beneficial.

The recruitment for our call centres can be challenging, we are looking for someone who will thrive in this environment and can help to develop their team whilst delivering against the business needs.  To successfully deliver large volume recruitment you will need to be experienced in planning and prioritising workloads.  The ideal person will also be comfortable writing and understanding reports and statistics and being able to monitor delivery against plans.

A CIPD qualification would be beneficial, but if you can demonstrate appropriate amounts of Recruitment/HR experience then it is not essential.  Basic knowledge of employment law in a recruitment or HR environment is essential.

Our core values are:
