Covid NPFS Operations Director

Band 8D

Fixed Term / Secondment (ending 31st March 2022)

 

Due to the current post holder having a period of extended leave, we would like to recruit a highly competent, experienced and flexible Director of Operations to support our highly acclaimed and innovative national pandemic health emergency services. You will be creative, able to think on your feet and experienced in dealing with NHSE, DHSC and PHE policy makers and commissioners.


Heading up national live and dormant pandemic health and vaccination services, you will manage a large team, budget and report directly to the SRO and Executive Director.


You will have an opportunity to be the face of SCAS and our Pandemic Services in the national arena and will be pivotal in delivering a large part of the national pandemic response. The role works across the UK and crown dependencies.

You will have considerable operational experience of remote, digital and contact centre enabled health care, understanding how to commission, manage and evolve these types of services with our contact centre staff providers.

This is a huge opportunity for the right person who wants to hold a national role and be a significant part of the NHS pandemic response. You can expect executive support and exposure to SCAS Board and commissioner programme boards. Working currently at or immediately sub Board level would be advantageous.
