Are you a newly qualified physiotherapist or already working as a physiotherapist who is looking for an interesting rotational post within a Community Trust?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for band 5 Physiotherapists to join our clinical rotations within the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.  We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to provide Physiotherapy in a variety of settings including MSK Out-Patients, Inpatient Rehabilitation in different Community Hospitals, Inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation, Community physio and Paediatrics. This is an excellent opportunity to follow a patient journey from being a patient on the ward into the community and to develop a sound professional identity, a range of skills and competencies within a wide variety of clinical fields.

The rotations are 6 months in duration and there is 7 day working in place across most rotations.

The successful candidate will need to be an autonomous practitioner who is able to manage a caseload, using evidence based/ patient centred principles to assess, plan and deliver individualised treatment programmes and delegate responsibility as appropriate.  The post holder will need to be a keen team member with a flexible approach and an effective communicator.

The post holder will benefit from the robust supervision model and appraisal processes as well as varied training opportunities in place which have a strong emphasis on shared learning across services.

This post would suit either a newly qualified or an experienced band 5 therapist looking to develop their skills and knowledge.   The rotation can be based anywhere within Worcestershire and therefore the applicant must meet the transport requirements for the role.

Applicant Requirements - Applicants must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.

Probationary Period - All new appointments are subject to 6 months’ probation period.

Preceptorship for Newly Qualified Staff - The Trust offers a preceptorship year for newly qualified nurses and AHP's and attendance at preceptorship programmes is a condition of employment.
