We have a number of posts available for Business Assistants to support both Community and Outpatient teams across AMH Community for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who excel under pressure.

The successful candidates should have excellent computer and audio skills, demonstrate they can work accurately, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proactive and have a willingness to learn. You will be flexible and used to working to tight deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal skills a positive and pleasant manner.

You need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and be able to act on you own initiative. You also need to demonstrate your ability to prioritise your workload and work in an organised and effective manner.

You will provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the teams within the AMH Community Mental Health Service. You will establish and maintain good communication links. Maintaining effective practices to ensure that all areas of the role are maintained within the service delivery timescales required whilst operating within a busy and demanding environment. Patience and a caring approach are important personal qualities for all members of the team.

We have vacancies in the Community Mental Health teams in Leicester with bases in the Leicester City area at the Maidstone Centre and Braunstone area at the Braunstone Health & Social Care Centre.

It is a statutory requirement for roles that involve work in care homes that staff are up to date with their Covid vaccination status to be able to work in that environment, unless the person has a valid medical exemption. Where a role requires this, they will need to demonstrate that they meet this requirement during the recruitment process.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.
