An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post based in the laboratory at the Leicester Royal Infirmary which will provide support to the senior team within Cytogenetics. We need an enthusiastic and committed individual to join us in providing a quality driven, patient focused service.

We are looking for a team player who can contribute effectively and provide a wide variety of clerical and administrative support to the senior management team with a particular emphasis on support for the quality management system. We can offer an exciting and varied role and duties will range from taking minutes and basic administration to complex analysis of data.

The successful candidate will have a good basic education with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines. They will be competent in the creation and maintenance of databases (e.g. Excel, Access) as well as the analysis of data and production of summary reports. You will be expected to work flexibly as part of the team and become an integral member of staff within the department.
