In addition to transplantation, Royal Papworth Hospital has the UK’s largest Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre (RSSC) and is one of five UK centres providing Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) to patients experiencing severe respiratory failure. It is also the only centre in the UK for a number of specialist services including Pulmonary Endarterectomy and Balloon Pulmonary Angioplasty (BPA).

TCCA – Theatres and Critical Care

Storekeeper

Band 3 - £20,330 – £21,777

 

Based at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge Biomedical Campus

 

The Theatre and Critical Care department (TCCA) at Royal Papworth prides itself on the delivery of high quality medical and nursing care. We are a large and very busy department, which depends upon all members of the team.

 

We are currently recruiting for a band 3 storekeepers to join our excellent team. The role will be primarily based in our busy critical care unit.

 

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the units are adequately stocked in all areas to ensure their smooth running. You will be closely liaising across the stores team within the theatre and critical care area to maintain stock levels, by performing stock reads and ordering.

 

Your role will involve physical activities, such as manual handling, as well as an ability to use bar code readers and computers following appropriate training. The ability to communicate with a range of people is essential.
