Reception, Glenfield Hospital
£18,005 - £19,337 pro rota per annum

We are currently recruiting for a 2 x Part Time Receptionists based at the University Hospitals of Leicester; the job roles will be based at the Glenfield Hospital.

1st post 19.50 per week, working the below shift pattern.

Week 1 – 0830-1730, Thursday and Friday

Week 2 – 0800-1300 Friday and 0800-1600, Saturday and Sunday

2nd post - 27 hours per week

0800 -1730 working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with a 30 minute lunch break


There may be occasion where you may be asked to work extra hours during the week to cover for sickness and annual leave.

The successful candidates will need to be well-organised with excellent interpersonal skills to work in our busy Hospital Reception Desks.

You will be the first point of contact for all Visitors & Patients that visit the Hospital. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner.

A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Reception environment or similar is desirable, although not essential, as full training will be given.
