Osborne Court provides Replacement Care (Short Breaks) to support children and adults with learning disabilities in Worcestershire. It supports individuals and their families by providing regular overnight stays to give families and carers a break from their caring responsibilities. It also offers the service users a safe and enjoyable place to stay, where they can meet new people and take part in new and different activities. The service is provided in four bungalows based on the Osborne Court site in Malvern.

We provide care to service users who have complex health needs or a need for nursing interventions (such as PEGs, diabetes, epilepsy.) We also support service users who have behaviours that may be challenging.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Nurse who strives for person centred care and is passionate about caring for people with a learning disability. The post holder will predominately be based in the children`s service, but will also be required to at times work in the adult service and at times may be the sole nurse on site for both services. They would support the Manager to lead the team in delivering a clinically effective service with the overarching aim that the individuals who attend the service feel welcome, safe, confident and keen to stay, thus providing a positive experience for all concerned.

Both services are registered with the CQC and the children`s service is registered with Ofsted. The post holder will be required to support the manager to ensure the service meets the required standards for both the CQC and Ofsted.
