An exciting opportunity has arisen in the community setting for 1 Full time (37.5 hrs) radiographer at the Loughborough Hospital. The University Hospitals of Leicester is one of the largest Hospital Trusts in the country and treated over a million patients last year. The community aspect of UHL comprises of 6 community hospitals and this post will be based at Loughborough Hospital, but cross-site working will be a requirement at times in order to fulfill service demand.

The post-holder will have excellent clinical skills and will deliver a high quality, effective and efficient radiographic service to the highest professional standards. You will work alongside the existing radiographic team and take part in the weekend on-call rota which is based at the Loughborough site. The community sites run a predominantly plain film service, but there are theatre lists and a view to expand this , and we are looking to the set-up of a Dexa Service in the near future.

Successful applicants will be highly motivated and enthusiastic. You will partake in audit, staff meetings and QC when required.

You will be adaptable to change, have excellent communication and organisational skills. Commitment to high quality patient care is essential.
