An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, committed, organised and well-motivated Team Administrator to join the Community Nursing and Case Management Teams in Southampton.

The Community Nursing Service provides nurses to visit and treat housebound patients to aid recovery and prevent hospital admissions wherever possible. The Team Administrator and wider team will provide admin support to enable this.

The Team Administrator role is a pivotal part of the Service, supporting both the administrative and clinical teams across Southampton City. Currently our sites are based at Broadcast House, Bitterne Health Centre and Royal South Hants Hospital.Due to the need to work in other localities at times, a car would be beneficial for this role.

You will need to possess strong prioritising and excellent organisational skills together with the ability to remain calm in a busy and dynamic environment. The work is varied, challenging and fast paced which requires a flexible approach. Managing staff is a key element of the role.

We are looking for someone that has experience in working in a team. You need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, be organised and possess good IT skills, including competence with Microsoft Office. Experience of System One is desirable although all training will be provided.

The successful applicant must be flexible, should possess excellent time management skills, be self-motivated and have a positive attitude with a customer focused approach.

The role will include managing a small team of 2 administrators based at Broadcast House, William Macleod Way, Southampton but with the responsibility of managing a larger citywide team when required. Our core hours of operation are 0800 to 1630 Monday to Friday.
