Performance Analyst

A vacancy has arisen within NAViGO’s Performance Team for a full time Performance Analyst. We are looking for a highly motivated Performance Analyst with a passion for making a difference in mental health care. The candidate will have the aptitude to build relationships with clinical staff, understand care pathways and processes in detail. The candidate will be an effective communicator who knows how to interpret complex data and explain it to all groups of staff in a way to suit their individual learning styles and job roles.


Department summary

This role will be based in the Performance and Assurance Team which is part of NAViGO’s Infrastructure services. The team has a wide range of responsibilities including Information & Reporting, Digital Projects, Performance, and Assurance. The team consists of skilled individuals undertaking complex and demanding work often to tight timescales. The team prides itself on being innovative and responsiveness with a good team spirit.


Job summary


The post holder will have a key role in ensuring that the key performance indicators and data requirements within all of NAViGO’s contracts are met and statutory and mandatory returns are submitted by national deadlines.


The role will also provide analytical support to NAViGO by developing and delivering customised management reports/information packs. This will include regular reporting and presenting to the various NAViGO committees and other relevant groups, for example the Mental Health Performance Meetings and Service manager Groups.


The ideal post holder will have knowledge of extracting data from various sources using SQL, is able to interpret and analyse the extracted data using statistical methodology and then present the data in a meaningful and clear way to their audience.

A high competence in the use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is required.
