An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recovery worker to join our excellent substance misuse services. STARS in Telford. The post holder will be employed by MPFT Inclusion Telford Stars for a fixed term of 12 months. We are an innovative, caring and a welcoming place to work, with a workforce who are committed and passionate about making a positive difference to individuals who misuse substances.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide intensive substance misuse support on a one to one and group work basis and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a recovery worker and caseload manager.

The post holder will have a proven track record of being committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to assessing, case management, co-ordination and multi-agency working in order to improve health and wellbeing of our service users.

Our approach is to support individuals using motivational interviewing which is designed to empower and engage individuals to make the positive changes needed to achieve improved outcomes.
