Radiology Department Assistant - Nuclear Medicine

We are looking for 2 Radiology Department Assistants to join our busy and friendly Nuclear Medicine team. The department is spread across two sites; Leicester Royal Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital. The successful candidates would be expected to cover both sites as the service requires. This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. Full time hours are Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, Mon – Fri 6:30am – to 2:30pm or Mon – Fri 12pm – 8pm.

Leicester Royal Infirmary is a large Oncology centre and many of the patients are referred for NM imaging and treatments. You will carry out a wide range of duties appropriate to grade.

The service currently has 4 gamma cameras across the 2 sites

We have a Radiopharmacy on site at Leicester Royal Infirmary. The unit provides a full range of diagnostic and therapy radiopharmaceuticals. Radiopharmacy hours are 6:30am – to 2:30pm.

It is essential the successful candidates enjoy working with people have excellent communication skills, enjoy being part of a busy team are hard-working, adaptable and flexible. Having a proven track record of Nuclear Medicine experience is desirable however not essential as training will be provided. If this is you we would like to hear from you.
