Band 6 Community Children’s Healthcare Trainer

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Children’s Healthcare Trainer across Surrey.

This role is a joint funded initiative between Surrey County Council and Child and Family Health Surrey.

37.5 hours per week flexible to meet the needs of the service. Some weekend and evening work maybe required to meet training needs of employees.

This role is based out of Jarvis Centre, Guildford, in easy access of the M25 and M23.

As a Healthcare trainer your role will be to train and support employees within Surrey County Council’s short break settings (In house provision and externally commissioned short break services), foster parents / carers. You will also train and support carers of children and families in receipt of personal health budgets and children with additional health needs in mainstream schools that are on caseloads held by the Community Children’s Nursing team and Childrens Continuing Care team.

You will be proactive and forward thinking in delivery of training and competency sign off for employees.

CSH provide ongoing internal training and opportunities to complete relevant external training to support you within your role.
