The Radiotherapy department of University Hospitals Leicester is excited to offer the opportunity for dynamic and caring radiographers to join our team of dedicated and enthusiastic therapeutic radiographers. We have 1 fulltime and one-part time position available.

The department is the host for the East Midlands radiotherapy network and has excellent transport links around the region and with the rest of the country. Being based at the Royal Infirmary site you will be within walking distance of the vibrant and historical city centre of Leicester.

Equipment includes 3 Varian Clinac iX linear accelerators with OBI, respiratory gating and RapidArc, 1 Varian TrueBeam linac, ARIA Oncology management system, Prosoma Virtual Simulation, Varian Eclipse treatment planning system, 2 Canon wide bore CT scanner with 4DCT, XStrahl superficial unit and Varian GammaMed brachytherapy unit. A replacement programme to include 3 Varian TrueBeam linacs is expected to commence in 2021.

We offer a wide range of modern treatments and techniques including deep inspiration breath hold for breast patients and SABR for both primary lung and oligometastatic disease.
