Deputy Director of Transformation

VSM - Circa £79k – £90k


Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is excited to advertise for a Deputy Director of Transformation. This is a new role which will see the successful candidate lead the further development and growth of the PMO.

Reporting to the Director of Governance and Risk, they will be responsible for the strategic development of the Transformation function within LPT. They will need to manage the delivery of the Trust’s Transformation programmes, including the Trust wide Cost Improvement Programmes.

The role will involve working closely with the Director of Governance and Risk to develop the overall approach to transformation within the Trust and ensuring appropriate governance and links into the Executive Team and Trust Board committees.

Importantly the role will involve leading the Trust’s approach to system-wide transformation, ensuring effective links into the Trust Transformation Committee. The postholder will work closely with key directors across the Trust, including the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Strategy and Business Development, and within the system.

They will, in addition, oversee the day to day delivery of the PMO, ensuring that robust project and programme management methodology is fully embedded both within the PMO and across the Trust, to support the delivery of successful projects and programmes of work.

The Deputy Director of Transformation and their team, will work in partnership with operational and corporate teams to achieve positive project and programme outcomes that make a contribution to the provision of health services within the Trust, across the local health economy and beyond.

They will be responsible for raising the profile of the PMO within the Trust and working with colleagues to build project management capability and capacity. They will advocate and act consistently as a role model by championing the Trust’s Leadership Behaviours, vision and values, ensuring that advice, guidance, and support provided by their team are values-based and role-modelled within the team themselves.
