RESPIRATORY TEAM

Senior Clinical Support Worker – Band 3 – 2.0 WTE fixed term/secondment to 31st March 2022 (Internal Only)

Due to a short term and exciting development within the team, we are seeking to appoint Senior Clinical Support Workers to support the team in the remote oximetry monitoring of patients with Covid 19.

The successful candidates will act as a key member of the Respiratory team, to coordinate the engagement, assessment and referral of patients to the Isle of Wight Remote Pulse oximetry Service.

This is a key supporting role; the post holder has responsibility for assessing customers’ remote monitoring capability and identify with customer the support needed.

You will be responsible for the monitoring of patients and will escalate concerns with regards to patient’s physical or psychological needs, or changes in their clinical condition.

You will communicate with a wide range of people, such as patients, carers, GP’s, work colleagues and professionals from other organisations on a daily basis. Hours will be worked flexibly in line with patient need and in agreement with the Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist
