Clinical Project Managers – Two Posts 1 WTE and 0.6 WTE – part time/full time considered.

12 month fixed term contract

Due to the rapid expansion of our services we need more additional skilled leaders with project delivery experience to join our development team. The successful candidates will enjoy the opportunity to work alongside our senior leaders to help them to realise the full potential of new investment in our services; benefiting the health and wellbeing of local children and young people. This work will be central to the prevention and early identification of needs, strengthening our work as part of local communities, and addressing the impacts of health inequalities.

Post holders will work to deliver three high profile projects – expansion of our Mental Health Support Teams in local schools, delivery of our partnership’s multiagency Neurodevelopment Pathway, and delivery of a new Young Adults’ Mental Health Service. Whilst the post holders are guaranteed daily regular opportunities for skills development and the experience of delivering complex projects to take forward to their next interview, how well each project is delivered will be determined by them.

The successful applicants will be responsible for ensuring that timescales, costs and quality objectives are met in their projects and will join an experienced team of project leaders where they will be supported to be successful.

The right candidate will be a self-starter who is confident working across organisational boundaries and with staff at all levels. They will be highly organised, a great planner, and responsive to guidance from others. Their fabulous communication skills, energetic leadership and ambition for our services will get the best out of others. Their knowledge of the current healthcare agenda and track record of collaborating, influencing and empowering to achieve their successes will be clear to us at interview.

We are determined to reduce inequality and improve the quality and accessibility of the services we support. If you would like to join us please contact Mark Roberts, Assistant Director on 07786 171429 for further information.

We are committed to providing the best care that we can to our patients. Some roles involve a Maths and English assessment. Where this is so, details will be shared with you in the recruitment process.

Details of our benefits, leadership behaviours and other important information about applying and working for us are contained in the documents linked to our advert.

It is a statutory requirement for roles that involve work in care homes that staff are up to date with their Covid vaccination status to be able to work in that environment, unless the person has a valid medical exemption. Where a role requires this, they will need to demonstrate that they meet this requirement during the recruitment process.

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, these are set in advance at a team level and you will join an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date.

We will consider requests to work alternative hours or vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

To make the most of your application, we may consider appointable applicants for similar vacancies in different locations where this is appropriate and meets our mutual requirements.

For all substantive roles the appointment of new staff (excluding medical staff) is subject to a 6 month probationary period (see Probation Policy).

We aim to develop a workforce that reflects our community. We actively implement equal opportunities in employment and service delivery and seek people who share our commitment. We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups.

All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.

For all jobs the cost of any DBS disclosure required will be met by the individual. This will be deducted from salary once started.

Applicants ‘at risk’ within the local NHS who meet essential criteria will have preference for interview over other candidates who apply for posts.
