Locum Consultant in Oral Surgery

  • Part-time (4 Programmed Activities per week)
  • Fixed-term contract (12 months)

 

Applications are invited for a 4 programmed activity (PA) post as a Locum Consultant in Oral Surgery at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, required to work on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The department provides a full range of Oral Surgery procedures and benefits from excellent clinical facilities supported by modern technical and imaging facilities (including Cone Beam CT), in a brand new outpatient unit that opened in August 2019. You will be part of a team led by consultants of multiple specialities delivering high quality clinical care in an exciting and busy environment. You will be able to provide direct clinical care, operating in both dental led sedation clinics and under general anaesthesia as well as contribution to the supervision and teaching of dental core trainees and speciality registrars. There is also an established joint oral surgery/orthodontic clinic which runs every second month on Wednesdays.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operate a 24 hour 365 day a year service and all nursing, clinical and operational roles will require staff to work 24/7 shifts (if required) unless you are specifically advised otherwise as part of the recruitment process.
