The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing Trust with integrated services across the community. Our vision is to ensure that patients are at the heart of what we do, providing excellent clinical outcomes and a safe, first class experience. The trust serves a local population of approximately 252,000 as well as patients from further afield.

The organisation is ambitious; growing, developing and reaching new grounds in terms of the care it provides for its patients. Roles within diagnostic services are pivotal to this transformation and sustainability.

A vacancy has now arisen for a CT/MRI rotational radiographer to join the cross sectional imaging team at Rotherham. The applicant preferably will have experience working in either CT or MRI imaging or both; however, a training post will be considered if the appropriate candidate is identified. The post will be split 50% of the time between CT and MRI. A flexible approach to working is essential as both modalities operate an extended working day over a seven-day platform and the successful candidate will be expected to work night shifts whilst in CT.

The Medical Imaging department actively supports postgraduate education and has two CT radiographers to undertake head reporting under the direction of a Consultant Radiologist.
