Do you want to be part of an excellent, supportive, caring team which strives to deliver Family Integrated Care?

We are currently looking to recruit experienced neonatal nurses who are dynamic and innovative to work in our neonatal team. You will need to have excellent organisational, communication and team working skills in addition to neonatal nursing care skills.

Applicants must have completed accredited critical care of the new-born training and be competent in the care of neonates requiring intensive, high dependency and special care.

Experience of shift co-ordination is essential.

We will be interested in candidates who are committed to development of the neonatal service and have experience of implementing changes in clinical practice.

As a senior nurse in the unit you will be required to support junior staff to develop appropriate clinical skills.

The neonatal unit is a 14 cot unit with 2 Intensive Care and 2 High Dependency cots, providing a Local Neonatal service. The unit is part of the Yorkshire and Humber Neonatal ODN.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.
