22.5 Hours per week

£18,005 - £19,337 (pro rata)

To provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support including reception cover to identified specialities within the Therapy services including: Physiotherapy / Orthopaedic / Neurological Conditions and other Allied Professionals within the Therapies and Dietetics Division.

This will include dealing with queries from patients, service users, relatives, carers and management of electronic patient records (SystmOne) across all sites, this includes liaising with GP surgeries, other NHS providers and other members of staff to ensure patients to enable referrals are processed appropriately as part of the referral management process, to the service and working with clinicians and partners for the service delivery.

Additional duties include covering a busy receptionist, call handling, general admin task’s and when required working across 2 sites of Therapy Services Rotherham Hospital (RGH) and Park Rehabilitation Centre (PRC)

  • Book appointments, assessments, groups/clinics, patient transport, portering services as required and maintain appointment ledgers and waiting list on Electronic Records System.

  • Plan and prioritise own workload.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of work

Previous NHS experience of other large sector organisation would be an advantage and have a working knowledge of NHS Policies and Procedures

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.
