Division of Medicine

 

The Division of Medicine is looking for a passionate, hardworking and friendly individuals to join the Division in the role as a Registered Nurse Associate (Band 4), there are a number of opportunities in the following specialties across the division.

 

  • Respiratory Medicine
  • Cardiology Medicine
  • Health Care for Older People
  • Stroke Care - Acute and Rehabilitation
  • Acute Medicine – Acute Medical Unit / Rapid Assessment
  • Diabetes and Endocrinology / Gastroenterology

The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organise and deliver clinical care in line with service and patient need working independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing care and within all aspects of the nursing process

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.


The Trust offers free car parking at the Woodside Building (Woodside Building, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2TY) if your interview is at the Main Hospital Site, which is a five-minute walk from Woodside. New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
