Beacon Medical Group PCN is a large partnership practice with six sites and a patient list of 43,000. We are an active contributor in shaping our local Services and at the forefront of developing new skill mixes to meet the challenges of Primary Care.

Our focus is on improving services and providing high quality care to our patients whilst supporting the local health system to build sustainable integrated services to meet the current and future health and wellbeing needs of the communities we serve.

We are seeking a dynamic, organised and highly motivated individual to join us as a Phlebotomist within our nursing team.  The successful applicant would be expected to be able to provide and maintain a high standard of phlebotomy in a clinic setting.  You will be experienced and flexible and able to work within a large general practice team. 

Our Nurse Manager heads up a team of mixed professionals, containing CDM nurses, treatment room nurses, HCP’s and Phlebotomists. We want to give our patients the best care and really value the skills and dedication of our nursing team, providing on-going training and support with a dedicated nurse educator, to ensure our nurses have a clear career pathway in general practice.

As a training practice, we support student nurses through mentorship and work in partnership with The University of Plymouth.

This permanent post is offered at 30 hours per week and you could be expected to work at any of Beacon Medical Groups’ sites.  There is a requirement to contribute to evening and weekend sessions on a rota basis.
