Theatre Support Worker

12 Month Fixed Term/Secondment

 

We are looking to recruit friendly, professional and motivated individuals with the ability to work as part of a team and who are willing to play a key role in our Theatre workforce providing high quality care.

The Hillingdon Hospital & Mount Vernon NHS Trust is a busy district general situated near to London’s Heathrow Airport. A diagnostic and treatment centre at Mount Vernon Hospital will provide day care and elective surgery for the Hillingdon area. This Treatment Centre will provide excellent learning and development opportunities for staff.

The work is interesting and varied, the pace is fast but we can offer you a friendly and supportive environment with an excellent record of commitment to continuing professional development together with all the benefits of working for a Foundation Trust.

Our theatre suite at the Hillingdon & Mount Vernon sites comprises of 11 theatres and 2 recovery units. The specialities include orthopaedics/ trauma, gynaecology, urology, dental, pain, ophthalmic and general. This department has 24hour theatre provision.


We offer a strong commitment for development. Our Practice Development team provides staff with a comprehensive package of training & clinical support and all our staff are released from clinical work to attend an annual mandatory training programme.
