MCA & Adult Safeguarding Advisor

Band 7

Permanent - 30 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Adult Vulnerabilities Team.

This will be a 30 hours, permanent post, which can be worked over four or five days, Monday to Friday and is based within the Integrated Safeguarding Team in Rotherham Hospital.

The role will include a diverse range of responsibilities including the provision of advice and support to all Trust colleagues and volunteers, collection and input of data, preparation of reports and the provision of training and education.

The successful applicant will be required to adopt a flexible approach to managing the workload and will be expected to work autonomously, but also be an excellent team player.

The cost of undertaking a DBS disclosure will be met by the individual. The Trust will meet the initial costs of the disclosure, and you can choose to have this deducted from either your first month’s salary or in instalments over your first 3 months’ salary. The current price of a standard check is £23 and an enhanced check is £40.

New starters to the NHS will start at the bottom of the advertised salary band.
