Are you experienced Occupational Therapist who is looking for a new challenge?

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust provides high quality community health, mental health, learning disability and social care services in the South of England.

We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist. You will carry out OT assessments, and engage in individual work required to support service users who are experiencing a self-defined mental health crisis within their own home.

You will work directly with Mental Health Nurses, Nurse Prescribers, Social Workers, Health Care Support Workers and our Consultant team as part of the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team.

You will be working alongside and supervise an OT Tech to support the caseload and management of patients requiring OT intervention.

The post is for part time or full time hours but these can be flexible to fit in with both yours and our service users’ needs allowing you to manage your diary on a daily basis.

Within your role you will be covering across both our home treatment teams and crisis assessment team which cover, Havant, waterlooville, Bordon, Petersfield, Fareham and Gosport. Our offices is based in Leigh Park where there is free Parking and excellent staff facilities.

The successful post holder will need excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with staff, service users and all stake holders. The ability to prioritise changing work demands is essential. Being organised and having the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

You will also require a valid full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
