We are looking for four Therapy Assistant Practitioners to work with in the Acute Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team. The hours are 37.5 per week.

The post holder will work in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Team including the Orthopaedic Supported Discharge Team or the Medical team.

The role of the Therapy Assistant Practitioner is to hold a delegated case load from the Therapists , carrying out assessments, treatment intervention and evaluation in line with a competency framework.

The post holder will be required to work in the Acute and Community in line national guidelines on discharge to assess. This will include being on a 7 day working roster to support the discharge to assess pathway.

You will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge of a range of clinical presentations and proven experience of working with in an Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Team.

The post holder is required to have a relevant Foundation Degree programme.
