RESPIRATORY TEAM

Respiratory Support Nurse – Band 6 – Full Time 37.5 hours per week fixed term/secondment until end march 2022 (Internal Only)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Nurse who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge in Respiratory medicine to work within the Respiratory team.

 

Due to a short term and exciting development within the team, we are seeking to appoint a Respiratory Support Nurse to support the existing team in the delivery of inpatient and community care team in the remote oximetry monitoring of patients with Covid 19.

 

The successful candidates will coordinate the engagement, assessment and referral of patients to the Isle of Wight Remote Pulse oximetry Service.

You will also be dealing with patient queries, seeing ward patients for inhaler technique etc doing some telephone reviews.

Relevant training will be provided

 

The ideal candidate for this post will already be experienced in the care of patients with respiratory conditions, be able to think and act creatively, work positively with colleagues from a wide range of clinical backgrounds and be able to engage patients and their families as partners in the care.
