Senior Project Manager and Engagement Lead [subject to Agenda for Change approval]

The NIHR Clinical Research Network: Greater Manchester (NIHR CRN GM) is looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to work with our newly established Direct Delivery Team, transforming research in Non-NHS and Primary Care across Greater Manchester. This programme will bring research closer to our community and explore different delivery models to ensure we are offering our population equity in access to cutting edge research.

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is funded through the Department of Health to improve the health and wealth of the nation through research. The NIHR Clinical Research Network (NIHR CRN) is the clinical research delivery arm of the NHS in England, tasked with supporting the rapid set-up and effective conduct of studies enabling researchers to gather the robust evidence needed to improve treatments for NHS patients. The NIHR Clinical Research Network is led by a national Coordinating Centre, and operates through 15 Local Clinical Research Networks.

Your excellent leadership, communication skills and change management skills will be paramount to success, and you will be great at building effective relationships at all levels. A flexible approach and ability to work well under pressure will stand you in good stead. This is an ambitious agenda so you will need to be proactive and set high expectations in terms of delivery. It will be fast-paced, complex and dynamic work but will bring huge job satisfaction.
