These opportunities have arisen within South Western Ambulance Service in the Clinical Hubs for dispatchers. The successful candidates will work as part of a team and will be responsible for the effective deployment and management of Trust vehicles to emergency and non-emergency calls across the Trust area.

It is essential that you will have had experience of working in an emergency control environment. You will need to be able to stay calm and professional and be used to working in a pressurised environment, as well as record accurate information.

You must have 4 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English (or equivalent) together with good keyboard skills and good oral communication skills. The ability to be tactful and diplomatic as required is also necessary.

The provisional start date for the training course for these roles is 4th October 2021.
