Diagnostic Service Manager

We are looking for an ‘Amazing’ Diagnostic Systems Manager to lead the development of PACS/RIS team through an extremely exciting time in our development and into the future.

We are the ‘hidden-gem’ of the North-West and are at a pivotal phase in the development and refresh of our main Radiology systems over the coming 12-18 months. This will require systems thinking, negotiation with all stakeholders and a focus on the wider picture for Radiology.

The department is fully engaged within the Cheshire and Merseyside imaging network, contributing and supporting the network to move forward with a collaborative mindset to secure better outcomes for our patients and staff.

Warrington and Halton Hospitals operates across two main sites within the Warrington and Halton areas, with the successful postholder expected to be able to operate across both sites.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and be focused on pushing to achieve the best outcomes for our staff and patients. A focus on moving forward and developing the team and department should be at the forefront of all that you deliver. The post holder needs to be committed to both their personal development and that of the staff and service, have an innovative attitude and thrive within a challenging environment.

As a senior manager within the Radiology department the successful applicant will also play a role in supporting the Radiology Services Manager to develop the Radiology department and team when required.

A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
