IT Senior Technology Support Officer - FIXED TERM

We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic individual to join our Digital Technology Team

We are looking to appoint a senior technology support officer to integrate into our existing technology support team. The appointed candidate will lead on a range of services including our endpoint management systems and client side security, in addition to providing second-line support for the IT user population and act as a point of technical escalation for the desktop support team.

The role will be responsible for day to day management of our endpoint management and antivirus systems (as one of two senior technology support officers).

Experience of application delivery, large scale application content delivery and upgrades through the use of tools such as:

SCCM/inTune

VMware Workspace One

ZENworks Endpoint Managment

Sophos

Azure Windows Defender 365

Is highly desirable.

Applicants should have experience of working in a similar IT role, preferably within ITIL processes.

Knowledge of IT endpoint environments such as, Window 10, iOS and Android would be desirable, in addition to experience supporting mainstream Microsoft products, such as the Microsoft Office Suites (M365), Microsoft Active Directory & Azure Active Directory

Digital Healthcare Services provide support for users at the Northern Devon Healthcare Trust, with sites situated across Northern and Eastern areas of the county. The Organisation currently provides IT services to approximately 4000 users and 4000 end user (endpoint) devices across the region.

The candidate will work with all levels and staff groups within the Trust, so good communication skills are essential. They must work well under pressure in a fast moving incident led team, but also be able to deliver small scale works such as software upgrades, IT relocation, and new application implementations.

Candidates must have the ability to travel to meet the requirements of the role. Extensive knowledge of the local geographic area and experience supporting users within a corporate IT environment is also desirable.
