The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible finance professional to work within the finance team as a Management Accountant. The post holder will be a key member of the finance team.

The successful candidate will fully support South West Provider Collaborative, which is part of the commissioning team within Devon Partnership NHS Trust. We commission services for people specialist mental health care across the south west in partnership with eight providers. Our geography spans from Cornwall in the South to Gloucestershire in the North, covering a total population of around five million. We aim to treat people as close to home as possible; in the least level of security, for the shortest period of time, to high quality outcomes. This is a really exciting time to join the team as we are expanding into commissioning local and regional services.

£38,890 - £44,503 per annum pro rata (Band 7)

About you

You will have the ability to demonstrate specialist knowledge and studying towards a CCAB Qualification or will have reached the same level of expertise and knowledge through appropriate experience. You must be exceptionally well-organised, able to work using your initiative, and capable of demonstrating experience and expertise in Management Accounting.

This role will be assisting the Senior Management Accountant to provide management accounts support to specific Directorates of the Trust including monthly close down of accounts and budgetary support to Service Managers.

The location

Your base will be in Exeter, however under the current COVID-19 conditions this may be subject to alternative arrangements/change for example home working.
