Shift patterns:Typically full time - Mon – Friday 09:00 – 17:0.

Duration: Several weeks to several months. Subject to reviews. ( after 1 month) from

Pay Rate per hour: £ 12.43 depending on pay Band. Plus accrued holiday pay

Roles

At South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust we provide the widest range of NHS mental health services in the UK. We also provide substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol.

Our staff serve a local population of nearly two million people. We have more than 230 services including inpatient wards, outpatient and community services. We provide inpatient care for over 5,000 people each year and we treat more than 45,000 patients in the community in Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham and Croydon.

As well as serving the communities of south London, we provide more than 50 specialist services for children and adults across the UK and beyond.

We have a Band 3 Receptionist Placement looking for cover around Erith Location for 1 month (which may be extended) for covering full time hours.

 

Main Duties

Band 3 Receptionist

We are looking for a receptionist to answer the telephone and answer the door to a very busy Drug & Alcohol Service.

 

  • They will need a courteous approach, good customer service skills.

 

  • Be able to take coherent messages and pass onto relevant clinical team members

 

  • Take basic referral details, scan, photocopy, prepare post on daily basis and email where required

 

  • Be computer literature and be able to look clients up on system, refer to electronic diary.
