Team Secretary within Liaison Team

1 x 37.5 hours/week Monday to Friday 08.30am to 04.30pm

Navigo are excited to have been successful in securing Wave 3 Core 24 Liaison psychiatry funding and are looking to recruit an experienced administrator to join the team.

This post is to support the Liaison team that are based at DPOW and Scartho Medical Centre.

We are looking for an experienced Team secretary. Ideally with clinical coding experience, excellent minute taking skills of clinical meetings. candidate 

You will be expected to provide clinical administration support to the Consultants and practitioners in the Liaison team. This role requires an experienced professional secretary to provide efficient and comprehensive secretarial service to support the team, have a flexible approach to work, the ability to effectively manage your time ensuring you complete work within agreed guidelines. It is essential that you have a minimum of RSA/OCR III Typing / Word Processing qualification or experience and you should be educated to NVQ Level 3 standard. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with telephone calls and callers needs efficiently and sensitively as well as being aware of the need for discretion and confidentiality at all times. You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and undertake all relevant duties to ensure the smooth running of the service this includes processing referrals, organising and preparation required for allocation meetings, gathering and preparing clinical records for the service and supporting the clinical team on a day to day basis. You should have excellent organisational and time management skills and have experience of working without supervision including working under pressure when required to meet the needs of the clinical team. This is a very varied role and would suit someone who is highly motivated, able to work on their own initiative and who would like the challenge of working in very busy teams.
