We are very excited to say we are once again recruiting Trainee Nursing Associates for our March 2022 cohort! This apprenticeship posts will enable you to progress into the level 5 Foundation Degree equivalent post.

The role of a Nursing Associate is to work with people of all ages, across a variety of setting in health and social care. As a vital part of our growing teams you will be responsible for providing the very best patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role delivers hands-on patient care as part of a nursing team and is regulated in England by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

Interested Candidates must :

  • Hold GCSEs Grade A-C (4-9) in Maths and English or key skills level 2 in Maths and English
  • Be able to provide the certificates for the above role
  • Be prepared to commit to two years training and completion of a foundation degree
  • Have experience in a healthcare setting
  • Be prepared to undertake an interview process with Solent University

We are looking for passionate caring individuals who are committed providing the best care for their patients and ready for their next career step.

If you are successfully shortlisted you must complete a Solent University application form and provide your GCSE (or equivalent) certificates. We are unable to offer you an interview without these items.

Successful internal candidates will not remain in their current clinical area but will commence as a Trainee Nursing Associate with a new clinical team, to allow you to embrace the new role and the opportunity to undertake new learning experiences whilst training.

DBS - If you join us and need a new DBS check, we will recover the costs through a salary deduction (£40 - enhanced check or £23 - standard)
