Band 5 Staff Nurse

We have an opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated and caring Staff Nurses to join our team. We are looking to recruit nurses who are flexible, committed to delivering high standards of care, have excellent organisation skills and team players. 

The Norman Power Centre (NPC) provides an enhanced assessment and rehabilitation service for University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB). The Centre is a self-contained 32 bedded unit located in Ladywood, Birmingham. 

The purpose of NPC is to provide care to patients who are medically optimised but require a period of time in an appropriately staffed facility to continue their rehabilitation, recovery or waiting for placement. The aim of the team is to enable patients to regain skills and confidence and promote and encourage independence. NPC also provides the opportunity for patients to have a comprehensive assessment of their long term needs undertaken by an experienced multi-disciplinary team comprising of nurses, therapists, social workers and clinicians.
